35 inches?
That's the mother of all Fokkers!
I was chatting to the manager of my local liquor store and he mentioned that his son had given him a model aeroplane kit. His son kept asking dad how he was getting along with the construction. Dad was in a corner because he didn't have clue what to do.
I casually said 'I'll build it'. He delivered the kit with a great big smile on his face. I didn't receive the Airfix/Revell type of box that I was expecting but two boxes containing 100 weekly issues of a magazine, each issue containing various pieces of the model - a Fokker Triplane with a scale wingspan of 35in.

What has this to do with Altec? Well, it has slowed my speaker project but not stopped it. The backs and sides are now finished. The pic, below shows the 2nd back panel clamped-up(20 clamps).
Tops and bottoms, next.

Your neighbors called. They like your music.
That's a hell of a way to get in good at the liquor store!
Hope you have fun.
built one of those many years past but had a good set of plans,, if done correct it will be a beautiful plane, todays material for covering the wings and fuselage are far superior to the old stuff,, hung in my shop for years and was replaced by a 6 foot wingspan sailplane,,
ya have to cover it in R E D,,
enjoy and take your time,,

Redfern Plans
I have a set of these plans they are very nice! I have seen 2 of the four DR-1's
that Walt built and was lucky enough many years ago to see the red one fly numerous
times before it was lost in a hanger fire, That was a sad day!
